Workshops
I regularly run beginners crochet workshops that cater for complete novices that have never picked up a hook before! Or if you're just a bit rusty and would like a refresher course.
You will learn basic stitches to make a project in a relaxed setting. It's very easy going and I adapt the course around your needs. Make new friends whilst learning a new hobby!
Beginners workshops are usually on a 3 week basis, 2 hours long, at a local cafe. Materials and refreshments are provided so all you need to bring is yourself!
I also run project workshops which are perfect for new crocheters that have caught the crochet bug! We have made bags, blankets, scarves and garments. Always set in a relaxed atmosphere, we have a good giggle learning new stitches and skills.

Blankets
I make various styles of blankets for baby shower gifts or lap blankets for elderly loved ones. The traditional baby shawl blanket in white is really popular. Along with granny square styles and the starburst design.
I can accommodate various colours to make them to match a colour scheme. All are machine washable and prices start from £25.
Cocoon Cardigan
Cocoon cardigans are lovely and light and snuggly. They are made in a cotton mix yarn that is both warm and cool to the skin due to the breathability of the natural fibres. Great for when you just need an extra layer in the summer or over long sleeve t-shirts in the winter.
They come in gorgeous warm pastel colours. Made in small, medium, large and xl. Machine washable. £30
Pocket Shawl
Pocket shawls are incredibly popular and one of my best sellers. They are made from a 20% wool mix yarn that keeps you snuggly warm whilst being lightweight. Perfect for in-between seasons when you just want to snuggle up or a wrap in the evening air.

Special Orders
I often take special requests and orders so if there is something you have in mind as a bespoke order please message me and I will do my best to help.
I don't take on toy orders due to the numerous safety tests they require. But any other requests can usually be made for you in the colours you prefer.

My name is Lois and I run crochet and knitting workshops as well as creating patterns and making gifts.
You could say wool runs through my veins as my parents were in the wool and haberdashery business before I was born!

I love meeting new people but I really love seeing people learn new skills and find a way to be creative. We live in busy worlds and crochet offers a mindful way to relax.
I was my mum's surprise package so my room was the stockroom for their business which meant they expanded from market stalls into a wool premises. I grew up surrounded by wool and haberdashery that's me stood outside!
I've always enjoyed different crafts and
now I have put the experience I gained working in education to great use in teaching crochet and crafts.
I am a busy mum, wife and carer to my elderly dad but I love spending downtime with family and friends walking, reading, listening to music, theatre and cinema trips and travelling!
